Tiles for Miles

Oh man! There are so many details to keep in mind when designing a space, from the lighting, to the wall colour, to the material of the floors. But one of my favorites (whether it's for your floors or walls) is TILES! I can spend days deciding on a tile that'll work a room perfectly. Once I've figured out the actual tile the next step is the formation.

It's all in how you place your tiles, there are so many different ways to lay a tile but you need to ask yourself- "what look am I going for?" That's a huge question I ask clients. There are more then these 4 ways to lay tile but you and I don't have all day so, the most common: Traditional tiles are the typical 50/50 brick split, or lined up not staggered at all which is also easiest when it's a DIY project, a more modern look would be the Herringbone (my favourite) and of course you can't really go wrong with Hexagon tiles.
