the. BEST.

Want to know what's the best? The perfect rugs to complete the look and feel of your home.

Sometimes it's just a new rug to make you feel like you've updated the living room or maybe the back deck. This can be so daunting to the point of exhausting for some people. It comes down to colour, texture, pile, size etc. the list goes on. Then your stuck with the task of where to purchase? Wether it's from Wayfair or Homesense or any other decor store, online or local. I still have not found a more reputable company than Loloi Rugs. They are the quality that is worth the cost and

their standard of quality is so high that I never have a doubt in the product itself when ordering for a client (or myself).

Here is a guide to rug buying, how to purchase the right size and what are some options for laying are rugs in your home. Of course, here are a few of my favourite rugs and collabs that Loloi has going on now.

So when it comes to sizing a rug in any room it should be 2 feet shorter than the smallest wall in the room (a minimum of 6 inches of flooring should be showing at all times on all sides). With dining rooms the rug should be 18 inches beyond the edge of the table to accommodate the dining room chairs. The bedrooms have a few different options you could try and in the end it's more personal preference. One would be having runners on either side of the bed and possibly at the foot of the bed as well, or one large rug under 2/3's of the bed. When we are styling a living room there are a couple different ways to set up the space. Not all furniture in a room needs to be on the area rug but most seating and coffee/side tables should sit 1/3 on the rug (rules are sometimes bent, this is just a general guideline) if the room is so big that you could have two conversational areas then I would separate with two area rugs creating two separate sitting areas in the one large room (make sure they are linked by a colour or material but they do not need to match exactly). Have fun with it.
