This living room was once a dull beige colour with no structure in design and varied styles cramped into one room. The new grey walls add a warm urban feel which continues to flow throughout the room with the cowhide rugs and the caramel brown reproduction Saarinen womb chair. A modern mid-century look with furniture chosen by Tanya has turned this space into an elegant oasis. Tanya had kept only a few pieces from the clients home to use in the redesign, one of which is the arc lamp seen here in the photo above. The willow grey paint colour which Tanya had chosen enlivens the room and adds such character. In the past grey was considered gloomy, down, empty. Now when paired with the right accents and furniture it completes a room giving it character & life to a once dull plain room.
