lost and never found

First off I’d like to apologize. I haven’t posted all week due to my grieving period. It’s official. I have lost my computer. I left it in a rental car and nobody ‘apparently’ has found it. I’ve finally managed to steal my husband’s away from him today. I tried multiple attempts to do a post from my phone but honestly, it’s not the same and quite difficult to put all the content together.
Alright, here we are now, keys under my fingers, screen in front of my face, completely content to just write. (It’s only been a week and I feel like it’s been a month) I figured today I would do a personal post as I haven’t really done that yet. Everyone knows by now I travel back and forth from Ottawa, Ontario to Nashville, Tennessee. Both cities are undeniably beautiful and the character that each hold are so different yet equally valuable.
I’ve decided that each month I will post a shop that is locally owned and give them a shout-out. Most of the time I will, of course, focus on the style and character of each place. I’ll interview the owner of the hot spot, post some photos and give you my two sense.
I feel guilty not showing as much love to my hometown because it has been good to me…but my heart has slowly been gravitating to Nashville, eventually it’ll be our transplant home. So the love I have for design will continue to grow between the two cities, never forgetting our roots, but allowing our roots to replant and grow just as strong in new soil.

Check out the preview pix of these gems, some are hidden some are well known. Either way you won’t be disappointed when you get a chance to pop in.
