Monday mood this March got me like...

I'm just praying that spring is just around the corner. Spring cleaning!!!!!! I love purging old and buying/creating something new. My entryway is an absolute mess, I can't even bring myself to post a photo. (I'm ashamed LOL) I keep saying to myself "winter, is only 2 months, its almost over..." I can barely open my front door because of all the waterproof mats and boots that line my entryway. I swear, my 9 year old has just as many boots and shoes that I do. It's the one of my many vices....footwear. We can't seem to keep my front entryway clear. I can make things look pretty, redesign an entire home, and for the most part help organize. I also know when I need to call in reinforcements. A good friend of mine is starting a professional organizing company, guess whose going to be her first client- MOI! I will post before and after photos. But while I'm organizing my entryway, here are a few things you can do to liven yours up.

Add wallpaper, change the paint colo(u)r, take out the shoe mat and add seating maybe with storage, add lights to the entry table, sideboard or shelf. Some art pieces can make for a great first impression. Don't clutter! Your entryway will be the first thing a guest sees when they walk into the home and it'll be the first thing you see when you get home from a long days work. Make it inviting, make it functional, better yet- make it you.
