Don't be fooled by the title of this post. As much as I am pro living the green lifestyle, this post has actually nothing to do with the environment. Sorry. BUT for all you green thumbs out there, maybe I can make you proud. Have you ever met someone who is a plant serial killer. Maybe that's too much, too intense. I don't buy a plant based on a certain criteria and then plan out their death. Its more like manslaughter....or planslaughter. I mean seriously ever met someone whose killed a cactus? Well, let me introduce myself....
Hi Everyone, My name is Samantha and I kill plants, I don't mean to...it just happens.
I'm turning over a new leaf. (lol- so clever) for real though. I went out and bought plants today. I just want the cleanest of air for my little spawns to breathe in. When I started looking at what types of plants/tree etc. to purchase my first question I ask when I walk into flower shop is "what is the easiest plant to keep alive and the lowest amount of maintenance?" All these plants are water once a week...or one ever two weeks. PERFECT!
Let's talk about planters for second. I have looked and looked in all the stores locally in my hometown and NOT ONE store carries cool planters. (mid-century, stands, etc.) Then instead of going to the pro's I went to HomeSense. BINGO! All the planters for under $30. Whenever your stuck and don't want to wait 2-6 weeks for shipping head on over to HomeSense. They have saved my ass on more then one occasion.
Add greenery to your home, its a natural air cleaner and makes everything look pretty.
