Farmhouse Chic

HAPPY THURSDAY LOVES! Took my Ritalin this morning so hopefully I'll stay on topic... ;)

Let's dive-in to creating that cute Farmhouse look.

Chic. Key word here. Make it pretty, don't throw hay barrels in the living room and call it a day. Back in the day everything was pretty well made of wood if it was furniture, and kept quite simple. You aren't looking to recreate 'Little House on the Prairie' so try and mix old with the new. Try a flea market find with chairs from Anthropology, but stay away from everything matching- its good to mingle...go mingle your furniture.

This is a process, here are some things to either add or think about adding to created that "new" improved chic Farmhouse look. Just remember that everything takes time, so buy things slowly don't rush, wait for that great buy at the flea market or second hand store, it'll be worth it.

Sidetone: if I see one more mason jar craft thingy I'm going to loose my darn mind. LEAVE THEM IN YOUR KITCHEN FOR PICKLING YOUR BEETS....That's all they're good for. DEATH TO THE "decorated" MASON JAR.
