Wake Up San Francisco! UUUGH??? That's so Danny Tanner. But I'm actually feeling that "spirited" today. "Why?" you ask. It's----> LAUNCH THE VLOG DAY!!!!!! Today is the day of quotes, measurements, and realization I may have bitten off more then I can chew. And continuing to deal with my ADHD brain that is completely overflowing with amazing design ideas.
But I am pretty proud of myself, even if this project gets me a first class ticket to the crazy house.
Check out the vlog + find out why I'm high five'ing myself. North+Nash Vlog.

On to the real reason you're here...how in the world can you achieve that "french-esc" look.
Key points to keep in mind:
Paint it White, but use the right white. It's never cold with blue, or too canary yellow either. It almost has a little pink or creme color. The french don't love a lot of color on their walls, stay away from that "accent" wall.
Mouldings + Trim. Love on the wall panelling.
Luxurious window coverings. Long curtains, hung high on the walls above the windows to create the affect of high ceilings. Clutter- easy on the area rugs, wall art, and knick knacky things. The french are more on the minimalist kind, who needs a double rug anyways...(I do!!!!)
Lighting....glam that biatch up! Chandeliers, do it....even in a closet! Why the heck not, right?
Floors- one word-hardwood. They actually love the wood.
Upholstery. I mean, this is truly a no brainer. This is where you get to go garbage picking. (I LOVE doing this, I have found some epic pieces of furniture dumpster diving) It may not look beautiful as you fling a browning banana peel off your new bedroom bench but with a little elbow grease and some new fabric + paint who knows what kind of masterpiece you'll uncover. Add the bling to your furniture too- be a high class bad ass ;)
