WTF

WTF- no, not Wash Then Floss....like actually WTF. These past 10-11 weeks have literally been the most exhausting and yet I'm already looking at our next project. Ya, I know- I'm cray cray.

I'm so proud of myself. I never in a million years would have thought I'd take on a project like this, and then actually want to do another one...LIKE REALLY proud of this home. I've been offered jobs just from this one design and it's been reassuring that this is me, to the core. I know I promised lots of posts and vlogs (new one coming tomorrow morning...need more sleeeeep Zzzz) but I never knew how much work this would all take. Now that its all done, we have a HUGE ANNOUCEMENT as of October 1st so stay tuned Nashers.

Back to Businassss. Ok so this door... *sigh* I'm actually obsessed with pinks right now. Who would've thought? Seriously, I'm the biggest tomboy and my favourite color is black. All the blushes, all the time, anytime. So it actually took me weeks to agree on even a pallet of pinks...then it came time to actually pull the trigger. I really wanted the color "Pricilla" but only for the name, instead I went with a little darker shade ( I forget the name...I'll post the color on the Instagram picture). My Mom, bless her little heart, was helping me paint (budget blown, so I accepted volunteers with open arms) I told her the rooms that I had already done and what rooms she could help with. Well, she took it upon herself to be ever-so-helpful and paint OVER MY PINK DOOR!!!

I cried... like for real tears. I'm going to blame it on stress and being tired...Tyler says I'm just emotional. Anyways I had to go hide in the basement and cry alone because I knew how ridiculous it was...then Tyler came down to give me a hug. [sidenote: He'd gotten mad the day before because a volunteer (my dad) didn't seal baseboards the way Tyler would have and I had to remind him he wasn't allowed to get mad at the "volunteers" he had to be grateful we had such amazing people willing to help us.] So as he was giving me a hug, he whispers in my ear "remember Babe, we can't get mad at the volunteers". Well played, ya jerk. I could literally feel him smile against my ear.

Thanks Mom...

After my paint meltdown, I apologized to my Mama, waited another hour and returned to my now white door to make it Pink AGAIN. The kicker though, my Mama's explanation as to why she painted it white - she thought I got a good deal on it because it was an "ugly" pink- (beauty is in the eye of the beholder, MOM!)

Door on point

Stay tuned and check out the Vlog tomorrow as I give away all my dirty secrets. (link above to YouTube Channel + don't forget to subscribe)
